NEW SHOE!!!!!

Well my dishes are not done, my laundry is piled high, I took another week off work, my children have to make thier own food, I watch movies and get served all day while laying on the couch and I got a new shoe!

Not quite the shoe I wanted but life likes to throw us curve balls and this is mine! I was doing aerobics on Tuesday and I stepped down from the step doing a backwards lunge and my foot decided it didn't quite want to land the way I wanted it to and so I instantly went to the floor and heard a pop! Not so much fun. Went to the doctor who was quick to inform me that my ankle was not broken only sprained but my foot was fractured on the side above the pinkie toe. I forgot the name of the bone. So I am trying to be good and heal quick so I can play at the beach next week but it's not looking promising!!! Larry was sweet enough to buy m e a puzzle to do while he and the kids play at the beach though!

Bree loves her hair

Well Breeanas new thing is looking on the piggies 'N ponies blog and picking her hair style for the day! This one was one she picked. It started with over 30 braids in her hair complete with beads. After 2 days I took the braids out and she had curly fizzy hair and lots of it!! Everyone was amazed how much hair she has! It looks so cute. We have a lot of fun picking out new hairdos and she never fights with me about doing her hair. Though she wants the braids back in and it takes over an hour to do so we will wait a little while before attempting that one again.

IT HAS BEEN 4 YEARS SINCE ANYTHING THIS EXCITING HAS HAPPENED TO A BOWMAN AT A PINE WOOD DERBY.

BRENDEN TOOK FIRST PLACE IN THE CUB SCOUT PINE WOOD DERBY HE HAD THE SHORTEST BUT FASTEST CAR THERE! HE WAS ON CLOUD NINE AS HE BEAT EVERY CAR IN EVERY RACE. OF COURSE HIS UNCOMPETITIVE MOM AND NON-BIOS JUDGE DAD WERE ONLY A LITTLE HAPPY! WE WERE SO EXCITED ABOUT HIS VICTORY! BRENDEN EVEN GAVE ME A WILLING KISS AT THE END OF THE NIGHT!

Brent!

Brent had his first temple trip yesterday. I was talking to him about it when he realized I was going. He asked Why? I told him I wanted to be there so his response to me was -

"Why do you always have to go to my first everything!"

Though I was a little hurt I realized I might be a little over protective. Though he doesn't always mind. After finding out that I am not even on the same side of the baptismal font he didn't care if I joined him. until he found out that I wanted a picture of him. Which I had to threated him to get! Why is it that as they get older the more un cool us parents are! He dosen't like me dancing in the car anymore, kissing in public is out of the question, Playing games like go fish is a punishment and heaven forbid I try to play rock band with him and his friends.

During quiet times though he will snuggle up and talk to me! Tell me all about his day. Eat a bowl of ice cream with me. Laugh at my jokes. Let me know that he still loves me.

Paisley Playing peek-a-boo! She is so full of energy and personality! I loved playing Peek-a-boo, blowing bubbles, looking at the moon and putting my bag back together with Paisley!

playing with Paisley was always fun!! She wasn't to sure of me at first but she learned to warm up after a few days and when she realized that I always have a treat for her.

Cosette was so fun to snuggle. She loves to be held and that was Okay with me. I loved that she learned to smile and was always so patient with Everyone passing her around. Even when Paisley was holding her!

****I loved it all the hike, settlers game, beating Blake, holding Cosette, playing with Paisley! All of it I am so glad we were able to go. It was amazing.

Arizona was great! Great food, Great games, Great Fun. Larry loved the CUB games. He was extra excited because they actually won two of the three games we saw!!!

Here are my lovely children who only drive me Half Crazy!! This year the snow has been amazing and FUN! Though at times we feel like mister snowman! Our house gets cold but either you can complain about the snow or have fun in it!

Well since I lived in the dark ages for so long with dial up I have never blogged before! I hope that I can keep up with it like Cyndi and Jaci! Theirs are amazing!
