I always am posting pretty pictures of my little ones!  My friend Karen from Ashtyn Jade Photography took these pictures and I was amazed at how beautiful she made me!

I always hate getting my picture taken!  Feel funny about posing and this was so uncomfortable for me!  I got the photo session as a white elephant exchange gift and Karen, Who started ASHTYN JADE PHOTOGRAPHY, insisted I get pictures of me instead of using it for Breeanas' baptism pictures!  I hated standing there and the one I am turned away I am talking to her daughter trying to ignore the camera. When I went to her house to look at the pictures and see the slide show I just cried!  I do not see myself as pretty but these pictures made me view myself as more than I normally see me.  I always feel like the frumpy old mom in her mid 30's trying to avoid growing old!  When maybe this is how my Heavenly Fathers view me!  Seeing through all the little mistakes and imperfections (that Karen amazingly fixed)  Seeing me as ME!  Her saying on her website is THE SOUL MADE VISIBLE! I was blessed to have a friend show me how Beautiful I can be.  This experience how ever wierd  it felt doing has touched my life and made me view myself in a different way!  THANK YOU KAREN

***Side note my boys all agreed they never knew I could smile!  Maybe I should do it more often!

HOMECOMING

Brents Homecoming 2011!!!!

Brent decided to go to homecoming and told me Wednesday when Homecoming was on Saturday! I was a nervous mom! Ii remember my homecomings and really wasn't sure I wanted Brent to go! He insisted and like always I caved! He knew he couldn't go with just a girl and I talked to my friend who's son Jalani is friends with Brent and he was going by himself! I asked if she could take them to dinner at Boppin' Bo's where I was working to eat and then I would take them to the dance and home and the end. She agreed and with butterflies in my stomach the day came! Brent Bought Bailey the girl who was going with him a flower and got all his clothes ready and I headed for work. Shortly after I got there Jalanis mom called she said, "I know you don't want Brent to go on a double date but is it okay if Jalani brings a friend." I was stuck she was Brents ride and it was to late to get my shift covered I was stressing and with a heavy heart because Brent can't date till he's 16 I said "yeah that's okay."
I was so relieved when Jalani brought along Carl one of Brents others friends! They went as Brent and Baileys Bodyguards and acted the part well! They ate at Boppin' BO's and then I took them to the dance they all had fun and I am glad that Brent went it was a great night!
I will say homecoming has changed (which means I am old) when I was in school no one would go to homecoming with out a date as I went to pick up the kids from the dance and then walked in to watch them clean up. Over half the kids went with a group of friends. there was groups of girls or boys with out dates just going to hang out and have fun! I wish homecoming would of been like that when I was at school instead of a date date that you had to pretend you liked the person you were with!
Great night Great fun and Brent loved it!!

Breeana CRAZY birthday

I thought having Breeanas birthday party in the middle of the week at an odd time most people wouldn't be able to come so I let her invite a few more people. On a rainy Thursday afternoon everyone showed up! Even a few extras.

Breeana had so much fun taking apart her animals and turning them into snuggle pets by replacing their stuffing with wheat! The kids had a blast making a mess and just being kids. I loved watching them get so excited when we warmed them up.

Lucky for me I called in the reinforcements! Cyndi who decided to come into town for a relaxing weekend ending up sewing all animal butts back together. While Chad was in the kitchen making sure no children went hungry! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!

Special visitor Pailsey who shares the same birthday came with her matching shirt to have fun and be with her cousin.

Happy Birthday Breeana!

The difference two days can make!!! On Tuesday I ran in stocking cap, gloves, multiple layered long sleeve shirts and long pants. Even with all the clothes on I was a little chilly! Two days later same time in the morning I wear 1 normal long sleeve shirt and long pants! NO HAT, NO GLOVES. Before I even reach a mile I am stripping off my long sleeve shirt and wishing I could cut my pants into shorts! Still loved the morning run (at least when I finished) and the company.
HEAT WAVE In the middle of January! Just goes to show I will never be prepared to run.

DISTRIC CHAMPS!~

Okay yes I am sssslllllooooowwww at updating my blog! Wanted to share Brents Great football season! Brent Played Quarterback, Defense (don't know which one) and then ended up being kicker. I told him he should share the ball but I loved watching him play! They Colts beat every team but one. They lost with 1.4 seconds on the clock. hard day for them. They did play the same team for distric Champions and defeated them. Brent worked hard and even though he was a little ball hog he helped his teamhave a great season and wonderful memories!!!
